Sensory Assessments

Sensory assessments consist of:

​

• 45 minute video call with parent / carer.

• Parent / carer and school / nursery staff to complete the Sensory Profile 2 questionnaire (takes around 20 minutes)

• 1 hour observation of child in school or nursery 

• 1 hour observation of child at home 

• Full report including sensory profile, advice and recommendations of sensory-friendly approaches for everyday activities in home and school settings.

• Up to 1 hour of editing the assessment report (further edits are chargeable at £85 per hour or part thereof).

Occupational Therapy Assessments

Occupational Therapy assessments consist of:

​

• 30 minute video call with parent / carer.

• Parent and school / nursery staff to complete sensory questionnaires (takes around 20 minutes)

• Parent completes gross and fine motor online questionnaire

• Parent completes Activities of Daily Living online questionnaire

• 1 hour observation of child at home (optional)

• 1 hour observation of child in school or nursery.

• Full report including:

  • Communication and social interaction skills

  • Gross and fine motor skills, seating and positioning

  • Personal care, toileting, handwriting and cutlery skills

  • Your child's sensory profile

  • Emotional regulation and behavioural difficulties

  • Advice and recommendations for school and home. 

Up to 1 hour of editing the assessment report (further edits are chargeable at £85 per hour or part thereof).

Full OT assessment £650 plus travel charges​

EHCP and Tribunal Services

Education Health and Care Plan Assessments

​

If you are applying for an EHCP, or think you may apply for one in the future, please let me know before your assessment so I can ensure your report includes the information required to support the process.

EHCP Annual Reviews

​

I am able to attend EHCP Annual Review meetings where I have previously assessed your child or provided Occupational Therapy services.

​

Attendance is charged at £85 per hour.

​

SEND Tribunal Services

​

I provide independent Occupational Therapy assessment reports for SEND Tribunal proceedings.

​

My standard turnaround time for Tribunal reports is up to six weeks. If you require an expedited report, this may be available for an additional £100, subject to capacity.

​

I can also attend SEND Tribunal hearings where required. Attendance is charged at £100 per hour (or part thereof), plus travel at 70p per mile, where applicable.

Screenings for Dyspraxia, ADHD and Autistic Spectrum Disorder

I offer screening for the following neurodevelopmental conditions:  ​

​

• Dyspraxia (also known as developmental co-ordination disorder)

• Attention-Deficit Hyperactive Disorder

• Autistic Spectrum Disorder​

Parents / carers complete an online questionnaire detailing whether they have observed particular behaviours in their children which may be indicative of certain neurodivergent conditions.

​

This is not a full diagnostic assessment, but an analysis of screening questions and a recommendation for whether a diagnostic assessment is indicated. 

​

A summary of screening and recommendations for next steps will be sent to you within 4-6 weeks.
